On December 21, 2020, we launched the First Contact: COVID-19 Care and Prevention program and have tested more than 1,000 people in Cd. Juárez suspected of having COVID-19. This is a six-month strategic partnership program executed by USMC A.C., Fundación del Empresariado Chihuahuense, A.C. (FECHAC) in Ciudad Juárez, United Way Chihuahua, and companies that have joined the fight against COVID-19 in our community.
Thanks to the collaboration with #Microsoft, the USMC A.C. team works with georeferencing software used to display data related to the population served as part of our COVID-19 detection project. A total of 1,170 people were served within the first two weeks of implementation.
As of March 31, 2021, we had served 4,712 people. All received comprehensive care free of charge, including medical consultation, COVID-19 rapid tests, and preventive care kits.
The diagnosis are follows:
•427 positive cases (9.06%)
•3,613 negative cases (76.68%)
•656 cases with antibodies (13.92%)
•16 people with an indeterminate diagnosis (0.34%)
